In the aftermath of presidential elections in June 2009, the world has come to witness the most serious internal unrest Iran has confronted since the decisive events of the 1979 Revolution. What millions of Iranians consider to be wide scale election fraud perpetrated by the incumbent president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his supporters – at this stage, a 'social fact' – has triggered an unprecedented division within Tehran's political establishment.
The most determining factor that can eventually lead to our success is public awareness. Informing people about different aspects of Green Movement and more importantly repelling state-run media are main functionalities of Green supporters. Considering the current unstable situation, paying attention to general guidelines of advertisement declared by Mir Hossein Mousavi is guaranteed to be the best possible way for fulfilling our goals.
We must respect our opposition while speaking logically and politely to reveal the realities; in addition we should seriously avoid anger because we are going to answer lies & cheats with anxiety and offensiveness.
We have to be patient enough, as it may take long; rather we should learn to live in Green style, as beloved and much-trusted prime minister of Imam Khomeini, Mousavi has said.
Just remember to be influential on opposition, so that they realize the truth, of course it may take a bit longer than what we may initially suppose. In this way our victory would be on the next door

Only a powerful government which depends on its people (and not some ballistic missiles) can defend accepted rights of the country.
How can we expect an administration which doesn’t recognize the instinctive rights of its people (including freedom, and right to govern the country through electing the government) to defend natural rights of the nation

A group of Iranian researchers and students based outside the country have criticised America's policy towards Iran in the recent round of talks which completely ignores the issue of violence perpetrated by the Iranian authorities and consider it a green light for Tehran to continue oppressing the Iranian people:
Over the past century, the U.S relationship with Iran has been volatile, and the coming months may prove to be a decisive era in the history of the relationship between the two countries. A misreading of the situation in Iran might lead to decisions which will damage the national interests of both countries.
